Juan Ureña was born in Lloret de Mar and at the age of 20 he decided to move to Barcelona to train as a professional makeup artist.

He has trained in Beauty, Fashion and TV with Ma Carmen Palacios, a renowned makeup artist from whom he stands out having learned an impeccable technique also in Characterization, Bodypaint and FX with Ana Cartes and Corinne Pérez where he developed his most artistic facet and technique.

In 2010 he started his career with Loreal for his new pro line Loreal Studio Secret. He continued his work make up brands such as Chanel or Nars.

In 2018 he received the Makeup Artistry award and had the opportunity to travel to London to train with Jane Richardson – Global Artistry director of Europe. This same year he began his studies at a set hairdresser with Miguel Griño developing as a stylist working on styling and different hair styles.

In 2019 he made the leap into the world of fashion and advertising working as a freelance. Since then he has worked for Brands such as Nike, Nestlé, Fanta, Salon Toro, Mango, Little liffner, Bershka among others.
